As a mom I have many varied roles. I'm not only a personal chef; I’m also a round-the-clock housekeeper, a taxi driver who’s always on call, a toy repair expert, family therapist and many more besides. And exhausting as it may be, I wear these hats proudly and wouldn't change a single thing. But while I love being a mom – the ups, the downs, and everything in between – it’s definitely taught me the importance of 'me' time, and the necessity to schedule in some time to myself on a regular basis. With Mother’s Day coming up, I wanted to share the three lessons I've learned as a mom when it comes to making time for me.
